Bellwether is offering New American cuisine with views of the Empire State Building. Look for dishes like Beef Carpaccio with pickled mustard seeds, pea shoots and potato chips; Braised Lamb for two with butter bean hummus and pistachio flatbread; and The Bellwether Patty Melt made with grass-fed beef, red onion and house queso on a brioche bun. Desserts include an apple tart with rye crust and a mixed citrus granita with pixie tangerines. Bellwether uses sustainably and locally-sourced ingredients when possible. The restaurant's design is highlighted by whitewashed brick and reclaimed redwood from an old New York City water tower, as well as, a unique moss-covered feature wall around the bar.
