Details:

Brooklyn Chop House might just be New York City’s most unique restaurant.  With more than 25,000 square feet it includes two floors of dining and drinking, a rooftop bar set to open in May and a private NFT “members only” club that will occupy the sub-cellar. It is also run by the largest black majority-owned restaurant group led by music executive Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins, businessman Dave Thomas, and restaurateur Stratis Morfogen. And just like the Broadway theaters that surround it, it is a true show stopper.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 660 guests between five levels, with six private dining rooms, three bars, and a rooftop bar featuring craft beers and signature cocktails on tap. The rooftop will also feature a Frosé Tropical Bar at Brooklyn Beach House offering a dozen different frozen drinks. The space has a retractable roof so guests can enjoy it rain or shine. Another outdoor space, called the Brooklyn Chop House garden, also features a retractable roof and lush greenery.

The food at Brooklyn Chop House combines Beijing-style dishes with American steakhouse. Diners will find everything from homemade dumplings and noodles to 35-day dry-aged prime steaks and double thick-cut chops. The Times Square location also features more vegan, gluten-free, and plant-based options.

Dumplings range in flavors from Pastrami, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Philly Cheesesteak to French Onion Soup, Impossible, and Gyro. The resounding response from those dumplings also led to the creation of Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, which debuted in the East Village and is now being franchised coast to coast.  Brooklyn Chop House is also known for its addictive L.S.D., the perfect Surf & Turf combination of Salt & Pepper Lobster, Ginger & Garlic Lobster, and authentic crispy Peking Duck served tableside. Additional entrées include Chicken Satay, Sweet Black Bean Beijing chicken, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp.

“Times Square is the largest global stage in hospitality and we are right where we belong.  In the heart of this concrete jungle,” said Stratis Morfogen, Owner and Director of Operations.

The restaurant will offer accommodations for private events including wedding receptions, birthdays, and special events. Guests will even have the option to post their own personal message on Brooklyn Chop House’s huge, vertical exterior jumbotron video sign in the heart of Times Square. Membership in the private NFT club will come at a price, ranging from $8,000 to $1 million.  Million dollar memberships will come with a quarter-percent stake in the restaurant, according to the New York Post. The official opening is March 14th.
