Cititour Review:

I have eaten Chick-Fil-A, but never inside a Chick-Fil-A.  So when I spotted a new location opening up on the corner of 6th Avenue and 46th Street I couldn't resist.

The first thing I noticed is how friendly everyone is, from the guy who greeted me at the door with a big hello while handing me a menu, to the young woman who politely took my order on the line with her tablet.  I handed the sweet cashier my money, and took what looked like a blue spoon to the blue team.  The woman behind the counter confirmed my order and asked if I could wait on the side.  I'd say in about two minutes I heard my name being called and my order was up.   At which point I got a big thank you.  Being a native New Yorker I am not used to all this niceness.   Certainly, there had to be some kind of catch?

As for the food, my fried chicken sandwich (They also have a spicy version) arrived slathered with a tangy BBQ sauce.  The cutlet was thick and moist.  It tasted fresh, not frozen.  A huge side of waffle fries offered a nice crunch.  Add in a soft drink and you're looking at a bill just north of eight bucks.  The price is a bit steeper than McDonald's about a block away, but considering how nice everyone is, I felt it is money well-spent.

As I left, the man at the door said, "Come again!"  I think I will.
