E Noodle, a popular spot in Flushing, Queens, is branching out to Brooklyn. The restaurant has taken over a former Thai restaurant near 86th Street and Fifth Avenue and is already drawing crowds for its Hong Kong-style noodles and hot pot rice dishes served in a clay pot. We stopped in for some excellent steamed crab soup dumplings and shrimps buried under a mound of garlic and scallions.
