Cititour Review:

It was raining and around midnight on a week night. We had just seen a show and began looking for a spot for a late night meal. Kitchens at some of the nearby restaurants had already stopped serving. That's when we spotted the Film Center Cafe. Food is served late here, and lucky for us, it was also Happy Hour with Manhattans going for 5 bucks a piece, a great deal for this part of town.

The place is dimly lit and has a very sexy feel to it. It might have a lot to do with the bartenders, all of whom looked like models who must be doing this on the side. They were all quite friendly and very-down to-earth, and a little flirty, which didn't make my wife too happy. But the drinks were strong and we were having a good time.

That's when we spotted some folks next to us devouring a great big batch of hand cut french fries. That instantly gave us a case of the munchies. We ordered a turkey club to go with our fries. Maybe it was the Manhattans at work, but I must say it was one of the best turkey clubs I've ever eaten. Nice crisp bacon and hand carved turkey, with just the right amount of mayo. It made for a terrific late night snack. The kitchen also serves burgers, crab cakes, grilled pizzas and steaks just to name a few, with most entrees coming in at under $20.

So, next time you're in Hell's Kitchen, and in the mood for a late night meal, you might want to check out the Film Center for a "reel" good time.
