There's a bakery in SoHo that always seems to have a line out the door. No. I'm not talking about Dominique Ansel's bakery. I'm talking about Georgetown Cupcakes just a few blocks away. And what's not to like. Whimsical cupcakes with pillowy frostings decorated with little hearts and flowers. There's even one with a unicorn on top. Flavors include chocolate mint crunch, cherry cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate twist and cherry blossom. The staff is friendly and the line moves fairly quickly. They also know how to make a good latte which I appreciated. It is a great stop for the kids, or if you are looking for some sweet treats for a birthday party.
