Hey Hey Canteen is bringing its elevated takes on Asian comfort foods to Gotham Market at The Ashland. Chef Carlos Barrera is offering customizable noodle dishes, handmade dumplings and signature dishes served counter-style. On the menu, look for a Hong Kong Fried Chicken Sandwich made with tamari, palm sugar-glazed chicken, fried and breaded in ramen noodles. It's topped with green mango and radish pickles. The whole thing sits in a soft bao bun with umami aioli. Hey Hey is also offering Singapore Noodles, a classic take on Hong Kong comfort food, and Sesame Peanut Noodles, a riff on Chinese take-out.
