L’Arte della Pizza Brooklyn is a family-run Italian pizzeria led by Abruzzo-born Master Pizzaiolo Riccardo Villani, who trained under World Pizza Champions Graziano Bertuzzo and Gianni Pompetti. The menu goes well beyond pizza, with Margherita and Brooklyn-style pies joined by supplì, burrata with Prosciutto di Parma, chicken parmigiana, housemade meatballs and pastas including carbonara, amatriciana and a five-cheese truffle pasta. Fresh local ingredients and select D.O.P.-certified Italian products are central to the kitchen, bringing a taste of Riccardo’s Abruzzo roots to Brooklyn.
