Turning a new leaf at Local Leaf. This juice and salad bar is offering health conscious meals, but is not one hundred percent vegetarian. Instead, look for combos like the Steakhouse made with beef short rib, wild grain mix, tomato, blue cheese and crispy shallots with a balsamic-agave dressing or the Upstater with slow roasted pork belly, maple-roasted Brussels sprouts, wild grains, sautéed mushrooms with a caramelized onion dressing. Other dishes include housemade seitan and herb-roasted chicken. You can also mix and match ingredients which are available as lettuce wraps, in lettuce cups, bowls and crepes. Meanwhile at the juice bar, there's an assortment of juices, teas, smoothies and boosts. The space is bright and airy with a friendly and accommodating staff.
