Directly across from the Museum of Natural History, Ocean Grill is an Upper West Side culinary tradition that has been exciting seafood lovers for many years. To get started, sample the titanic daily selection of oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp and lobster cocktails offered at its renowned raw bar, and rest your sea legs in our candle-lit bar lounge. Enjoy a summer afternoon in the Café with Citrus Marinated Shrimp with Tuna Tartare and Lemon Vinaigrette or Hudson Valley Camembert, Bartlett Pear and Walnut Salad, and hold on for the creative additions coming from the kitchen. As you get ready to set sail, you'll notice Ocean Grill's refined dining area resembles that of a luxury liner, complete with oversized mirrors and round porthole windows looking into the kitchen. The adjacent photo room is bedecked with retro black and white seaside snapshots and is a perfect spot for romance or celebration. Once you make the move into our dining room you'll enjoy savory entrées like Alaskan Wild King Salmon accompanied by Sweet Corn and Fava Bean Ragout with English Pea Vinaigrette or Falafel Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with Honeyed Eggplant and Violet Mustard Emulsion. Ocean Grill also earns its name with a daily list of Simply Grilled Fish served with seasonal side dishes and Lobsters ranging from 1 ½ to 4 lbs. Then comes the moment we've all been waiting for – Dessert! Dive into Pastry Chef Lincoln Carson's sinful take on Profiteroles, filled with Peanut Butter Ice Cream, served on a creamy caramel gateaux. Or just succumb to the all-out decadence of Criolo Molten Chocolate topped with a Crisp Chocolate Wafer and Milk Chocolate Ice Cream. Your mouth will thank you! All this enough to make you thirsty?
