At the Roasting Plant on the Lower East Side coffee is literally sucked through pneumatic tubes in an effort to give you the perfect cup of Joe. Watching it is fun. Drinking it is even better. The coffee beans come from far away places like Bali, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Brazil and Guatemala. Blended coffees are also available. The coffee beans are roasted in-house and allowed to rest for 48 hours in what's called a Javabot before being dropped in your cup. - Thomas RafaelAdditional details:
