Sathi in Gramercy is a jewel of a restaurant offering a mix of dishes from India and Nepal. Here you will find samosas and kebabs, along with larger plates of shrimp tandoori, chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. Himalayan specialties include steamed or fried Mo:Mos (dumplings). We tried the ones stuffed with lamb served with two spicy sauces. They are crispy little treats perfect for sharing. For dessert, there is Gulab Jamun, perfect little spheres of fried dough swimming in honey sauce to finish off your meal.
