Above the bustling streets of K-Town you will find a place guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth with its inventive creations. Spot Dessert Bar is located on the third floor of Gallery 32, a sprawling Asian food court offering everything from spicy dumplings to noodle dishes and sushi.
At Spot, macarons come in mouth-watering flavors like raspberry rose and chocolate caramel. There are Vietnamese coffee cupcakes and apple crumble. You will also find homemade cookies along with ice cream and sorbet. But some of the best dishes are tucked away behind the counter; seasonal dessert tapas like soft cheescake with passion fruit foam that is served out of a glass, and smoked coconut cheesecake with Oreo crumbs and white chocolate shavings.
The signature dish is the Chocolate Green Tea Lava cake. It is everything you could ever want in a dessert. The chill of the green tea ice cream mixed with the crunch of walnut soil, and of course there is the lava cake. It is a rich and chocolaty specimen that when cracked open reveals a molton green tea and white chocolate ganache. It truly is a symphony of tastes and textures. Spot on!
