Taco Dumbo's in Midtown is taking the surfing theme to the nth degree complete with its own private beach. Walk through the doors and you will immediately find a lively bar along with wicker-style seating and over-sized surf boards. Move a bit deeper and you will encounter a giant bamboo bird cage offering a more private dining scene. Venture outside the cage and there is a private beach complete with sand and beach chairs. There's also a jumbo screen where movies will be shown. It's all a bit over the top, but fun. It's also exactly what fans of Taco Dumbo have come to expect. The surfer theme continues with drinks like the Watermelon Wave (non-alcoholic) and Fresh-Pressed Margaritas on the rocks or frozen. On the menu, there are loaded nachos, spicy tuna & salmon tacos, along with an assortment of festive salads and bowls. For dessert, there is soft-serve (dairy-free) with granola and goji berries. Service is friendly.
