Details:

Tokugawa, a sushi concept from Serafina Restaurant Group, has opened a second location in the heart of Gramercy.  The first Tokugawa, which opened last year In collaboration with the acclaimed Sushi Chef Kazuo Yoshida, quickly became a neighborhood staple.

Chef Yoshida, whose talent garnered attention over the years at such prestigious Japanese establishments as Kameda, Jewel Bako, and 1 OR 8, continues to cement himself as a sushi master in NYC.

Inspired by the legacy of the Japanese Emperor Tokugawa, known for his refined taste and appreciation of the fine arts, Chef Yoshida and Serafina’s founders Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato are offering creative, impeccable-quality sushi & omakase in a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere downtown.

Tokugawa is offering a curated yet simplified omakase experience. Priced at $120, the omakase at the counter offers diners a casual but intimate journey through ten meticulously crafted courses, with ingredients sourced directly from Japan.

For those opting for a more relaxed dining experience, there is a curated three-course omakase menu designed for larger parties for $85, as well as an a la carte menu featuring an array of signature Tokugawa hot dishes, only available at the new location, such as Angus Beef with chaliapin sauce; Tokugawa Shrimp, crispy shrimp wrapped in potato noodles, which is then deep fried and topped with smoked trout roe and more.
