Modern Mediterranean cuisine is what you will find at Zizi which recently relocated to Chelsea from Williamsburg. Zizi's focus is on the vibrant foods found in such places as Turkey, Spain, Israel, Morocco, and Greece that are made with fragrant spices and herbs. Diners will find new takes on classics like Crazy Baba made with charred eggplant, feta and basil, and Mediterranean Ceviche. Other offerings include a Lamb Burger, Grilled Salmon with brussels sprouts, artichoke & cauliflower, Lamb or Chicken Shawarma, and Skirt Steak with fermented tomato dashi, Sichuan chili, okra and fried egg served with couscous. Zizi is also open for lunch and brunch. Brunch includes baklava-style granola with fig yogurt, and buttermilk French toast with shredded halva and date honey.
