dell'anima, the popular Italian eatery, now operates a chef's counter at Gotham West Market. The all-day menu begins with baked eggs and pancetta with tomato, rosemary and parmigiano for breakfast. Antipasta, later in the day, brings charred octopus with chorizo, and bone marrow with pickled red onion. Pasta dishes include Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and Spaghetti alla Arrabbiata with Calabrian chilies and pecorino breadcrumbs. Branzino with confit potatoes and Pollo al Diavolo with broccoli rabe and chilies are counted among the larger plates.
