Cititour Review:

Ever had Bohemian food? No, not the “alternative,” hippie kind, the kind from Bohemia. If you're curious, check out Hospoda, a new Central European restaurant serving specialties from Bohemia, Bavaria and Austria. The menu offers a series of small plates which change daily. These dishes can be mixed and matched to create a full meal: two plates ($32) or three plates ($45). Recent options include market vegetables with morels, truffle oil, parmesan and celery essence or Prague-style ham with horseradish foam and pickled beets. More adventurous diners may try such delicacies as beef tripe with apple, wine dressing and cloves or smoked beef tongue with pea purée and pickled onion.

Not only does the chef create unique combinations of Central European foods with fresh, local ingredients, but the restaurant pairs the dishes with artisanal beers as well... what else can you expect from neighbors of Munich? Master Bartender is Lukas Svoboda, bringing his expertise to the bar so that each glass is served at the peak of perfection. A draught tasting of four beers – sweet, slice, creme and neat – is available ($19) to help you decide which will accompany your meal.

Alternatively, try the daily tasting menu ($88), which pairs seven, specially chosen daily dishes with wine, beer or cider (drinks not included in price of tasting menu). For those who find the cuisine of Central Europe foreign, this could be just the way to get better acquainted!
